Help Assemble Hero Boxes for Local Medical Personnel

Phone Volunteers

Needed:  1-2 volunteers to contact three local hospitals (below) to get a count of front line staff to determine how many boxes will be needed at each location.

AssemblyVolunteers

We provide the supplies, you do the assembly! Volunteers pick up snack items from locations in Haymarket or Manassas and assemble them into provided boxes for front-line staff members at area hospitals. You then drop off at the same location unless you want to deliver to the hospitals

Delivery Volunteers

Volunteers pick up completed boxes from locations in Haymarket or Manassas and deliver to local hospital(s):

Novant Health UVA Prince William Medical Center (Manassas)

Novant Health UVA Haymarket Medical Center (Haymarket)

Create Cards for Kindness!

Want to put your creative and artistic skills to good use by helping others? Here is how:

1. You send handmade cards (blank inside, no personal message) to Scrapbook.com

2. They organize and distribute the cards to cancer foundations, shelters, hospitals, and other organizations

3. The cards are used by nurses, doctors, staff, counselors, parents and volunteers who add handwritten messages of encouragement and love before giving them to children, patients, and others in need.

Please click the link below to go to Scrapbook.com to learn how you can participate in the Kindness Initiative. They are partnered with the Ronald McDonald House charities; Operation Gratitude; Sunshine Acres Children's Home; and other great organizations.
